About PerpSky

PerpSky is a weekly research desk for the perpetual futures market. It covers the whole market - centralised exchanges and on-chain perpetual DEXs - rather than any single chain, venue or token.

The site exists because perp market data is published in fragments. Venues report volume. Aggregators report open interest. Exchanges report funding on their own settlement clock. Almost nobody publishes all three against a stated snapshot time with a consistent cohort, which is what you need before any of it can be compared.

What we publish

What we do not do

Editorial standards

Every article carries a byline and a last-updated date. Corrections are appended to the affected page rather than silently applied, with the date and the nature of the change recorded. Where sources disagree, both figures are printed rather than one being chosen. Where we change our reading of a market, the change is stated rather than backdated.

Who operates this site

PerpSky is operated by the Tronsell team. Tronsell runs an energy marketplace for TRON network transfers and has no commercial relationship with any perpetual futures venue covered on this site. Where the site references Tronsell, it does so only where chain transaction cost is directly relevant to the point being made.
